Compatible with most smartphones and tablets, the 1.55X Anamorphic Lens from SmallRig captures video with an extremely wide 2.76:1 aspect ratio, which is far greater than what standard optics can accomplish. Anamorphic lenses accomplish this by vertically stretching a wider image onto your phone's sensor. This lens increases your lens's horizontal field of view by 55%, which gives videos an aspect ratio of 2.76:1, as compared to the spherical, or non-anamorphic ratio of 16:9 (1.78:1). When used with strong light sources, anamorphic lenses can also create unique lens flares. Your video is further enhanced by a multilayered broadband optical coating that is anti-reflective, as well as the lens's 52mm thread mount, which allows for external filters to be used. Thanks to an aluminum alloy frame, this lens is sturdy and durable.

Please note that this item does not work with ultra-wide lenses and is only suitable for devices with an M mount interface. When installing, make sure the lens is completely horizontal or vertical, which can be done by checking the scale line on the lens' surface.
